Nothing much exciting ever happens. Not that I think other people would be interested in reading about, anyway. Regular mom stuff. Now, I find reading about other mom's life entertaining, but I know that to a person without children those kinds of things are boring, uninteresting, and close to torturous to listen to. What might be funny to me makes no sense at all to someone else. My life is pretty much kid stuff, with some dog stuff thrown in. Even my job at the school is nothing but kid stuff! Makes for a limited audience to share things with.
Some of my friends travel a lot and see really neat places, and I consider it a great "vacation" to go to the grocery store by myself. There is one weekend every year that my girlfrieds get together for a "Girls Weekend," but even then my dear hubby lets the kids call me whenever they want to cry and sob to me about how much they miss me and to ask if I am ever coming home. Nice. I get to go away for what totals about 45 hours (not even a full 2 days) a YEAR, and I feel guilty about it. grrr
So anyway, if this is the sort of everyday stuff that is interesting, this is the place to be. My plans are to keep this as sort of a journal for all things good and bad. Like a journal that I can't lose (there are at least 2 notebooks that I have started writing in and have lost) or have it taken over by an overzealous 'artiste' (another 2 books are now filled with crayon and marker pictures of very interesting renditions of whatever is interesting at the moment in the active brains of the 'artistes'.)
