Good Weekend!

This past weekend I went away with my girlfriends. We always have a great time when we get together for our "Girls Weekend," and this year was no exception. I guess there must be nothing more fun that eating for hours on end, laughing til you cry, and acting like a big bunch of doofs! Yep, it's a total blast! And one of the few times I get out of my crazy house. Without husband OR kids. Girls ONLY - NO boys allowed. That being said, we spend a good chunk of time talking about our 'boys' and children and/or pets, but we can do whatever we want 'cause it's our weekend away!!! And I was soooo ready to get away for a bit! With all of the getting-back-into-school routine stuff, organ removal and husband recovering stuff, and the remodelling the bathroom stuff (meaning we have only a ripped apart room with a toilet, and everything is covered with dust from the demo) I had about reached the end of my patience with everyone.

My belly still hurts from laughing so hard and so much, and I think I should go to bed now and sleep til maybe Wednesday or so to catch up on the sleep I missed this weekend, but there is nothing I would trade for the weekend I get to spend with my friends! They are all the SHIT!! hehee ;-) Missy didn't make it this year, but I guess being about 3 weeks away from her due date with her 3rd child is a pretty good reason. We did try to call her and harass her one night, but I think she was avoiding the phone and didn't answer when we called. That, or we called a poor innocent person who just may be traumatized now from the message we left on the machine. We have been known to place calls while in less than prime condition, and I think Steph got the worst of that 2 years ago. She still talks to us, so I guess she forgave us for it!

All in all, it was a great time and I look forward to it every year. Bring on the pygmies!

Leah, I see you 'found' this, and please let me warn you....this is probably the most boring blog in the universe, so I hope you aren't expecting great things here. Pretty boring!!! Mostly my rambling and complaining!
